So for my first post I'd like to ask you all a favor and if you have a Minute please Vote for Rose Namajunas and her Flying Armbar submission of Kathina Catron (it says Triangle in the poll). I'm trying to help the lesser known but just as badass Rose beat the well known Ronda Rousey! She ended the fight with the Flying Armbar in 12 seconds of round 1 in just her second pro bout with Invincta FC. She is a Strawweight (115 lbs) and has just signed with the UFC for their new Strawweight division. She is a fantastic fighter and a really cool chick and will certianly be one to watch this year. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , thanks guys.

I don't know much about it, but I think Gina Carano is pretty.

I've watched UFC casually for years and started following the women more recently. The new 115lb division that the UFC just added is chock full of talented badass hotties. I've always been a fan of Sporty chicks in general but seeing them fight each other fascinates me.

( Spoiler alert about UFC 168) I'm not sure if this is required but any who.

I just watched my very first UFC event for a friends birthday a few days ago. It happened to be the last one where Anderson Silva breaks his leg. I don't know much about the sport but most of the matches were between males and I didn't find it that interesting to me personally, although I do appreciate the athleticism, skill required, and the different types of martial arts in UFC.

However, when Ronda Rousy and Miesha Tate (had to look up their names) took to the Octagon, the match was much more interesting than the other matches imo. Not because I'm a heterosexual male and I'm watching two fairly attractive females who are totally badass and they could totally benchpress two of me, but more hits were given and the holds(?) seemed a little more technical (if that makes any sense). I also feel like they were evenly matched compared to the other fights that night (even though it was decided by knockout). I just felt like I could guess the outcome of the other fights (not including the match-up with Anderson Silva).

I just felt the lady's match was way better from an actual fight point of view.

Am I crazy or am I speaking sense at all?

Lastly, that Flying Armbar move is a fantastic example of what I mean. Does that sort of thing typically happen in a men's bout?

Some of the smaller guys put on a good show, but in general the Women are way more exciting to watch. Ronda Rousey is great to watch, she's an excellent fighter and very technical, She was a medal winner in the Olympics for Judo. Hopefully with this new division and UFC finally embracing Women's MMA we'll get to see many more great matches.

I would be infinitely more interested if there are "wardrobe malfunctions" in women's MMA...

I like hot chicks. The fighting part is really not required.
